My friend has a successful independent hagwon in Gangneung, Gangwan-do and now is opening a second school. GNUCR, a joint project between the University of California, Riverside, and the district city government of Gangnam, is seeking qualified English language teachers. GNUCR offers an Intensive English Program composed of six levels. Classes are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The basic working condition is

-Salary: 2.0/2.1/2.2/2.3 mil won per month (depends on Qualifications)
If rural 100,000 won extra per month
Level 1 (2.3): Teaching certificate or Master’s degree
+ more than 2 years of teaching experience
Level 2+(2.2): Master’s degree or teaching certificate or more than 1 year of teaching experience
Level 2 (2.1): Teaching certificate or more than one year of teaching experience
Level 3 (2.0): Bachelor’s degree

-Working hours: Mon- Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm (Teaching hours: 22 hours per week)
If there is overtime teaching: 20,000 won per hour

-300,000 won Settlement pay upon teacher is arrival
